About

LANDSCAPES THAT RESPOND TO PLACE & PURPOSE

We create spaces that feel right for their context—landscapes that work with their surroundings through practical design and careful observation. Our experience spans implementation oversight in Saudi Arabia, technical construction in Switzerland, and project leadership across diverse South African environments.

Our collaborative approach centers on:

  • Designs that emerge from understanding each site's specific conditions

  • Practical solutions informed by contemporary environmental design & sustainable construction practices

  • Collaborative partnerships with clients, architects, engineers, & builders throughout the process

  • Thoughtful resource management that respects both budgets & environments

Recent projects include conservation work on UNESCO heritage sites, contributing to South Africa's first Green Star industrial certification, and developing restoration approaches for Swiss urban waterways. Our work has been recognized in publications like ArchDaily and Pro Landscaper, focusing on solutions that are both environmentally responsive and practically buildable.

Currently completing Master's research on contemporary approaches to urban ecological restoration, integrating academic insights with hands-on knowledge to ensure solutions that work in practice.

"The best solutions emerge when you understand the site conditions, respect the constraints, and listen to the people who will use the space."

This integrated perspective across technical construction, collaborative design, and contemporary thinking allows us to address challenging sites through practical teamwork. We bring both field experience and thoughtful analysis to every project, ensuring solutions that are as buildable as they are appropriate.
